NORTHERN IRELAND OPEN
Hill begins his Northern Ireland Open at home against Thepchaiya Un-Nooh. MyiCue's latest five-match snapshots point to a close opening-round test, not a comfortable homecoming.
A home crowd can lift a player, but the draw has given Aaron Hill no gentle start. The Irishman opens his Northern Ireland Open against Thailand's Thepchaiya Un-Nooh on Sunday, 18 October, in a best-of-seven-frame first-round match. MyiCue's latest form snapshots show Hill with three wins from his last five and Un-Nooh with two. That is a slim edge on paper, and a reminder that this first session is about handling the moment as much as enjoying it.
