Terms of Service

The terms for using MyiCue, submitting predictions and taking part in our snooker community.

About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of MyiCue, a snooker prediction, tournament tracking and community app operated by the MyiCue team. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. For questions, contact the team through our Contact page. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian where required by law. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and do not share your account or impersonate anyone. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

The prediction game

MyiCue is a free-to-play game for entertainment and friendly competition. Points, rankings and achievements have no cash value. Participation does not create an entitlement to money or prizes. Tournament formats, entry availability, scoring rules and tie-breakers are described in the app for each competition. Read them before submitting your predictions.

Entries, deadlines and scoring

You are responsible for reviewing your selections and tie-breakers before locking in. Drafts are not confirmed submissions. A successful submission confirmation indicates that your entry has been received. Entries are subject to the competition’s displayed rules and availability; once locked, selections are normally final. Scoring uses recorded match results and the applicable competition rules. Live scores and provisional standings may change. We may correct inaccurate results, duplicate records or scoring errors, and resulting standings may be updated. Contact us if you believe a correction is needed.

Fair play and acceptable use

Do not manipulate scores, submit fraudulent entries, exploit faults, interfere with another person’s account, bypass access controls or overload the service. Do not use the app for unlawful activity, harassment, threats, hate speech, spam or publishing someone else’s private information. Use any integrations and data access only as authorised. Report suspected faults rather than exploiting them.

Community content and private leagues

You retain ownership of comments, images and other content you submit. You give MyiCue a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate the service, including displaying your contributions and competition results. Only submit content you have permission to use. Public posts may be seen by visitors. League organisers and members must respect these terms and the access arrangements of their league. We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a breach, protect others or comply with law.

Our content and external services

The app’s branding, design, software and editorial content belong to MyiCue or their respective owners. You may use them for ordinary personal use of the service, but may not reproduce or redistribute protected material without permission or another lawful basis. Match information may come from third-party sources such as snooker.org. External sites, sign-in providers and connected services operate under their own terms; we do not control their availability or content.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep MyiCue useful and available, but maintenance, provider outages, delayed match feeds and other interruptions may occur. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every result will be complete or immediately current. Features and competitions may change or be discontinued for reasonable operational, security or legal reasons. Where practicable, we will give notice of material changes affecting active participation.

Suspension and closing an account

You can stop using MyiCue at any time and contact us to request account closure. We may suspend or close accounts where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated breaches, security risks or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us for review, unless doing so would be unlawful or compromise safety or security. Treatment of personal information following closure is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Responsibility and your legal rights

Use MyiCue as an entertainment service, not as a source of professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control or for business losses arising from personal use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Disputes and applicable law

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. If you are a consumer, you retain any right under applicable law to bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction. Nothing here restricts your statutory rights.

Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms for changes to the service or legal requirements. The date above shows the latest revision. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where appropriate. Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen or retrospectively change submitted competition rules without a legitimate reason, such as correcting an error or meeting a legal requirement.
